Running all over the world: Latest pictures from the Moodie Multi-National Marathon
INTERNATIONAL. Fundraising efforts for Hand in Hand for Haiti through the Moodie Multi-National Marathon have received a remarkable late boost from DFS, which has raised over US$300,000 for the charity.
Some US$200,000 has been raised through the official website (part of it from DFS) with plenty more pledges still to come (click here if you wish to donate to the race, individual runners or industry teams). We estimate the total sum raised to date at over US$400,000, and possibly much higher by the time final sums come in.
DFS Group, a staunch supporter of last year’s inaugural Moodie Multi-National Marathon, once again issued a mass call to arms among its employees, and appointed over 20 ‘Team Captains’ to drive participation and fundraising.
